South St. Petersburg is home to beautiful marinas, vibrant communities, and—like much of Florida’s coastline—increasing climate vulnerability. As storms intensify and shorelines erode, it’s become clear that we need solutions that work with nature, not against it. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Loggerhead Marina Mangrove Pilot Program, a project that blends science, sustainability, and stewardship.
This pilot program aims to strategically plant native mangroves along the marina’s edge using eco-conscious containment structures. These “green barriers” are more than just plants—they’re powerful protectors. Mangroves have been shown to:
• Reduce wave energy by up to 66%
• Filter harmful pollutants and improve water clarity
• Provide essential habitats for marine life
• Help reduce the frequency and severity of red tide events
• Store massive amounts of carbon, helping fight climate change
Our vision? To turn Loggerhead Marina into a living model for climate adaptation that balances human access with ecosystem health. It’s a nature-based solution that safeguards boats, protects communities, and restores biodiversity—all while enhancing eco-tourism and local pride.
Nature is not just something to protect—it’s something to partner with.
This is only the beginning. With the right support, this scalable pilot can be replicated at other marinas across Florida and beyond. Join us in planting the seeds of resilience.

In an era marked by environmental urgency and innovation, cities across the globe are rethinking transportation. In St. Petersburg, Florida, a quiet revolution is stirring—one grounded in personal freedom, sustainability, and technological progress. I recently submitted a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) to the St. Petersburg City Council that challenges outdated classifications and policies surrounding Personal Electric Vehicles (PEVs).
Why This Matters
Electric unicycles, Onewheels, and electric skateboards offer low-emission, affordable, and space-efficient alternatives to cars. Yet in many cities, including St. Pete, these devices are misclassified as “motorized toy vehicles”—a term that disregards their real-world function, rider skill, and technological sophistication. This classification limits their utility, creates legal confusion, and discourages adoption at a time when sustainable solutions are desperately needed.
What’s in the RFP?
The RFP lays out a detailed pilot program that proposes:
• Reclassification of PEVs to reflect their utility as transportation.
• Public safety studies and guidelines to ensure responsible use.
• Community engagement strategies including education and rider accountability.
• Designated riding zones and integration with city transit infrastructure.
The proposal is rooted in constitutional rights, equitable access, and environmental resilience. It is not just about devices—it’s about dignity, mobility, and a better urban future.
What’s Next?
This initiative has already sparked dialogue and raised awareness, and I’m optimistic that with community support and legal clarity, we can transform St. Pete into a model for future-forward micro-mobility policy. Stay tuned for updates as we push forward with public meetings, legal challenges, and continued outreach.
Together, let’s pave a path toward freedom of movement—powered by innovation and grounded in sustainability.

Hi, I’m Charlotte Bertha, and I founded Sustainability Arc with a simple but urgent mission: to restore balance between humans, the planet, and technology. Today marks a major milestone — the launch of my very first digital guidebook, and the beginning of a community I hope will grow into something powerful.
I created “How to Build a Purpose-Driven Nonprofit in Florida (Fast, Easy, & Cheap)” because I know how confusing, complex, and bureaucratic the process can feel — especially when your ideas are mission-driven, not profit-driven. This guide simplifies everything, step-by-step, from state filings to 501(c)(3) recognition. It’s the exact blueprint I used to start Sustainability Arc.
In this downloadable booklet, you’ll learn:
• What makes a nonprofit purpose-driven
• The 3x3x3™ structure I used to organize my organization
• How to complete your state and IRS filings quickly
• What to do after you incorporate to attract grants and build credibility
You can get the guide right now for just $10 on Gumroad:

Restoring Balance Between People, Planet, and Progress
Hello and welcome — I’m Charlotte Bertha, the founder of Sustainability Arc. If you’ve landed here, chances are you believe, like I do, that the world is ready for a new kind of balance — one that restores what’s been lost, elevates what’s good, and catalyzes what’s possible.
I come from an extensive background in aviation sustainability, with degrees in both undergraduate and graduate studies in the field. I’ve spent years understanding how systems — environmental, governmental, and technological — can either protect or destroy the living world around us.
But it wasn’t enough to work within existing systems. I felt called to build something from the ground up — something that could fuse legal insight, spiritual wisdom, ecological logic, and technological opportunity into a living framework for change.
So I started Sustainability Arc.
At the core of this movement is a term I’ve coined: Bioregenesis™.
Bioregenesis™ is the process of restoring natural balance by healing biological, ecological, and systemic harm through intentional design and regenerative action.
It’s not just about “sustainability” in the conventional sense. It’s about repairing what’s been disrupted — whether that’s pollinator collapse, legal corruption, or the erosion of community sovereignty.
Bioregenesis™ is both an ecological philosophy and a roadmap for rebuilding systems that serve life.
The Arc Pillars of Sustainability™ are the 3 foundational prisms through which I organize every project, decision, and vision:
1. Humans
We believe in fairness, freedom, and emotional sovereignty. From food security to mental health to borderless compassion, this pillar ensures human systems are harmonious.
2. Planet
We uphold non-negotiable ecological ethics. Whether it’s mangrove restoration, 5G regulation, or microplastic elimination, this pillar anchors environmental truth.
3. Technology
We embrace innovation, but never without conscience. This pillar governs the responsible use of AI, digital rights, and bioethical tech to uplift—not enslave—humanity or nature.
These aren’t just ideas. They’re structural filters I use to plan initiatives, challenge laws, and build resilient nonprofit strategy.
As part of my journey, I’ve also found intruige in studying constitutional and case law — not as an outsider, but as a woman taking back her power within the system. I believe the law is a tool of the people. It belongs to us. And it must evolve to reflect our values, not corporate agendas.
If you’ve followed my recent work, you’ll know I’m also an advocate for personal electric vehicle rights, EMF harm mitigation, and local governance accountability. These legal efforts are not distractions — they’re part of the regenerative mission.
This space is where I’ll:
• Share transparent updates on my projects
• Offer free legal insights and DIY nonprofit guidance
• Explore the philosophy behind Bioregenesis™
• Give voice to issues mainstream sustainability often ignores
• Promote purpose-driven economic tools and ethical tech
I hope this becomes a sanctuary for people who care deeply — and act boldly.
I created Sustainability Arc not to lead alone, but to create a framework for others like you. Whether you’re building a nonprofit, planting native species, fighting for public health, or learning the ropes of law — there’s a place for you here.
Let’s restore what’s sacred. Let’s rebuild what’s broken. Let’s regenerate the future.
With heart and fire,
Charlotte Bertha
